Well, there will be no mosaic this month.
That is really only effective if you actually have more than two finishes to show!
I scrolled back through October and while I'm pretty sure I spent some time sewing, it sure doesn't look like much! Here's what I did accomplish:
I crocheted something, and it looks almost like it is supposed to!
My first attempt at paper piecing. One block counts as a finish, right?
Halloween costumes were made, though minimal sewing was involved, especially for the older two...
Hopefully I'll have a few more things to share at our next little show-and-tell! To see what more prolific sewists can accomplish in a month, visit Lynne at Lily's Quilts for Fresh Sewing Day.
Well I`m impressed. You crocheted a scarf and did paper piecing and there`s no way I will ever be able to do that or very well. Love your kaleidoscope quilt - love purple and orange together. Have a great November Toni! By the way - what a cutie!!
ReplyDeleteNever tire of seeing that quilt! Love the crocheting too - I'd love to be able to whip up a cowl. I can't even knit though lol
ReplyDeleteAll lovely! (Still really, really, really enjoy seeing the quilt)
ReplyDeleteWell, it may not add up to much, but I think you accomplished ALOT - that kaleidoscope in itself is a major accomplishment! And your first paper-piecing - that is one creative block. You done good!
ReplyDeleteA block definitely count as a finish and what a finish it is - stunning!! And the kaleidoscope quilt is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteIt all looks great! The Christmas block is adorable, and of course I love your kaleidoscope quilt!
ReplyDeleteAww, what a cute little skunk! Kaleidescope is beautiful, but the skunk is my favourite :)
ReplyDeleteyou have done loads - finishing off your quilt is major - and it is so gorgeous. and paper piecing for the first time: I know how fiddly that can be
ReplyDeleteYou've had a variety of crafting experiences and learnt things along the way - what more could you ask for?
ReplyDeleteOh you did more than OK!! Still feeling the 'snood' love!
ReplyDeleteOf course a block counts :o) I think you may have finished more than me if that makes you feel better lol
