Which One Will it Be?

Seriously, have you guys seen all the fun sew-alongs that are coming down the road?

Take a look at a few of these babies:

Sparkle QAL with Megan of Canoe Ridge Creations and Jeni of In Color Order

Made In Cherry QAL with Chelsea at Pins & Bobbins

Sew Scraps Along with Jodi at Pleasant Home

Fresh Squeezed Sew Alongs with Randi at I Have to Say

Quilt As You Go Free Motion Quilting QAL with Laura at Quokka Quilts

QAL Wednesdays with Leah Day at the Free Motion Quilting Project

And not a Sew-Along, but definitely worth checking out:
100 Days of Modern Quilts from the Modern Quilt Guild.

I'm quite confident that I'm forgetting something here as I usually do, so if there are any other fun goings-on about to start up please leave a comment letting me know!

So are you going to participate in any of these?

  1. Wow, that is a lot! Not to mention all the swaps starting up again.

There's a scrap attack (I think that's what she's calling it) at Stitched in Color and I think a scrap sew-a-long at the blog of whoever owns Pink Castle Fabrics. I don't follow her, but have seen enough people mention it. Scrap busting seems to be the trend this January.

There is also another FMQ thing going on at Insights from a SoCal Girl (I think?) that I was going to do, but decided against it.

The only one listed between your list and mine that I may do is the Sparkle one, in mini form. Which ones are you going to do?

  4. There is a Sew Happy Quilt QAL being done by the Sew Happy Geek. She has also come up with some sponsored prizes. I'm doing hers as I'm a newbie and this is a sampler type quilt that starts out simple. The link if anyone wants it is http://sewhappygeek.co.uk/index.php/sewhappyquilt/

  8. There's also the Finish Along with Rhonda at Quilter In The Gap. I'm doing Jenna's QAL (mentioned above) and I'm going to try the QAYGFMQQAL and possible Rachel at Stitched In Colour's Scrap Attack

  9. Great list to choose from, Toni!
I am already signed up for the QAYGFMQAL!
I'm all about learning FMQ this year, so I've also joined the FMQ Quilter's Challenge at SewCalGal.
And who can resist Leah Day!!! Certainly not me!
I'm also doing a Japanese x and + block swap organized by Isabella The Cat.

  12. I want to join a qal this month, but I haven't seen one I really want to make, yet. Watch, I'll probably like them all after I see everyone else's pretty quilts. :D
