Pin-Did Challenge, round 1

I love a challenge.
 
And when that challenge involves my beloved Pinterest, how can I say no? So of course, the moment I read Amanda's post about her Pin-did Challenge, I knew I was doing it.


I've said it before, but I actually do a lot of the things I pin, so this wasn't really a challenge, it was just fun.
I've been sorting through my boys' clothes this week getting ready for the change of seasons and found several things that needed mending. Little boy jeans are not fun to mend. They're too small to really do with the machine, and I'm just not such a fan of hand-sewing denim patches. Then I remembered this pin:

Only after I finished did I realize that I forgot to put any teeth, so he looks a little more cookie-monsterish. Oh, well. I'm really not sure how well this is going to hold up against my two-year old, but it will be fun for a little while anyway.

  2. Oh man, that's the cutest thing ever! My 3 year old daughter doesn't wear out of the knees of her jeans (must be a boy thing), but if she ever does this is totally how I'll be mending them!!

  3. Okay this made me laugh...I love it! How cute! I used to spend a ridiculous amount of time in high school obsessing over how to "decorate" my jean rips. Wow, that brought back memories... Thanks Toni!
